Your
doctor will prescribe the correct dosage for you as an
individual; one capsule
(100 mg) 3 times a day is recommended.2 It
is taken by mouth either with or without food.2 If
you have a kidney disorder, your doctor will probably prescribe
a reduced dose or recommend
that you don’t take Zavesca.2
It is very important to give your therapy
enough time to work. Because of the unique action of Zavesca
(reducing the
substrate), it may take a few months before you
notice any effect. Therefore, be patient and give Zavesca
the time it needs to work for you. |
